A Future Hockey Player?

Mommy and Daddy signed me up for ice skating lessons and last Wednesday was my very first night of class AND my very first time on skates!  Mom and Dad decided that we would just rent skates before we invest in a pair to see if I really like skating.  Do I like ice skating?  I LOVE ICE SKATING!  Turns out that they only rent out figure skates in my size, so Mom is taking me this weekend to get my very own pair of hockey skates.  I get to have 30 minutes of practice time on the ice before my class starts and during that time, I could barely stand up.  Mom and Dad told me that I would probably fall down a lot at first and I sure did.  I would just laugh when I fell.  I think my breezers added a bit of extra cushion too!  I was very determined and never gave up.  Class started and Daddy got to come with me (only for the first two lessons).  The teacher should him how to hold me and it really helped.  In a matter of one class, I could stand and move along the ice all by myself.  It was so much fun that I did not want to leave when class was over.  I am really looking forward to next week and to getting my very own pair of hockey skates!
